This Saturday afternoon, the Norwood Football Club host their Multicultural Match against the Adelaide Football Club.
In what should be a fantastic match, both sides will be looking for wins after losing last week to both Sturt and Glenelg respectively.
This Saturday will recognise all of the cultural backgrounds within the Norwood Football Club and it’s community, and there is plenty on offer for fans making their way to the Parade.
The day starts off with the under 18’s set to face Centrals at 12.10pm. In what should be a cracking match, the Redlegs under 18’s will be looking to notch up their third win of the season.
There will also be a junior club carnival from 2:30pm until 3.30pm. Under 10’s from Modbury, Hope Valley, Tea Tree Gully, Golden Grove, Athelstone and Payneham will participate in a round-robin football carnival.
Set up on the front lawns their will a variety of different cuisines for fans attending the match. ‘Wienerbago’, ‘The Satay Hut’ and ‘Moorish Bites’ will be available from 1pm onwards, giving a taste of German, Moroccan and Indian cuisine.
With the Parade predominately based with Italian cuisine, our guests will be able to try different international food offerings.
There will be the Statewide Family Friendly Zone, which will have three AFL listed Adelaide Crows players signing autographs. Be sure to check it out!
At 4.10pm our match with the Adelaide Football Club will commence. Before the match a number of individuals will make the Australian Citizenship Pledge at our own citizenship ceremony.
Gates open at 11.30am.
