Norwood defender Harry Petty has rounded out the McDonald’s SA Under-18 2017 campaign with a convincing 46 point win against Victoria Country whilst also taking home the award of Most Valuable Player for the carnival.
Played at Simonds Stadium on Wednesday night, the South Australian side moved the ball with much more efficiency and fluency through the corridor to put the hosts on the back foot at the home of the Geelong FC.
Norwood’s Stefan Giro was also a stand out, featuring strongly in the early stages of the game.
Harry, of Wudinna on the Eyre Peninsula, is a product of the Norwood EP Livestock Academy program.
Congratulations to all from the Norwood Football Club on the successful 2017 Under 18’s campaign.
