The Redlegs return to Coopers Stadium tomorrow night, as we face Glenelg in Round 6 of the SANFL Maccas League.

We fought of a brave a tough Central District outfit two weeks ago, and are feeling fresh coming off the bye last weekend.

We are set to regain former North Melbourne midfielder, Brad McKenzie, after a stint in the reserves, as an ankle injury postponed his debut in the Norwood colours.

Head Coach Jarrod Cotton outlined that his side is well prepared heading into the clash, mentioning how important the two premiership points are playing at home tomorrow night.

Ahead of Norwood FC’s encounter with Glenelg FC at Coopers Stadium on Friday night, Norwood’s Media Writer Joseph Marciano has provided the key points for the clash.

At Coopers Stadium, Norwood FC have defeated Glenelg in their last six meetings.

Both Glenelg and Norwood have recorded their all-time lowest score against each other in Friday Night games at Coopers Stadium, Glenelg kicking 1.4.10 in 2004 and Norwood 1.3.9 in 2008.

In all encounters between Norwood and Glenelg, there has been 252 matches with Norwood leading with 151 wins over Glenelg’s 100 with one draw played out.

Norwood’s highest ever score kicked against Glenelg was 32.24.216 in Round 20 August 30, 1969 at Glenelg.

In the last meeting against Glenelg, Norwood fell by six points and Tim Webber claimed the two Magarey Medal votes.

Norwood’s biggest winning margin against Glenelg was 112 points which occurred in Round 20, August 30, 1969 at Glenelg.

Norwood’s Brad Mckenzie will line up to play his first game in the red and blue after overcoming an ankle injury.
