The Norwood Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of former Western Bulldogs forward/wingman, Declan Hamilton.
Hamilton 21 joins the Redlegs after spending three years at the Western Bulldogs having played 58 VFL games over three seasons, averaging 16 disposals and kicking 40 goals.
Formerly a Port Adelaide Magpie junior, Hamilton was drafted to the Bulldogs with pick 39 in the 2014 AFL National Draft.
Hamilton, has elite skills and will add pace and run to the Norwood team. Hamilton was also a member of the Dog’s VFL Premiership win in 2016.
Speaking to Hamilton since arriving, he mentioned how excited he was in returning to Adelaide and is looking forward to what lies ahead in 2018.
“It’s very exciting to be able to come home and play my football for Norwood in 2018,” said Hamilton.
“Obviously, I had a bit of a decision to make about where I wanted to play my footy next year.
“But probably from the first time I spoke with Jarrod (Cotton) I kind of knew that this was the place I wanted to play in 2018.”
