Henry Crauford joins Norwood

The Norwood Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of 19-year old ruckman Henry Crauford.

Crauford who played for Mount Burr in the Mid-South Eastern Football League (MSEFL) for the past three seasons, will add depth to Norwood’s ruck stocks in 2019.

The 19-year old started playing junior football for the North Gambier Football Club before joining Immanuel College in Adelaide. Crauford played 10 A’s in year 10 and in year 11 and 12 played first 18.

Speaking to Crauford he said he was thrilled to commit to the Norwood Football Club and shore up his immediate playing future moving to Adelaide.

“It’s pretty exciting to sign with Norwood for 2019,” Crauford said.

“Speaking for the first time with Football Operations Manager Mark Ross, he welcomed me with open arms into the club.

“For me looking in from the outside it’s a great club with great facilities and is a place where I can see myself playing football.

“Overall I’m really looking forward to moving over and playing football at Norwood in 2019.”
