NORWOOD will travel to Maughan Thiem Hyundai Oval on Saturday afternoon to face the Eagles in Round 7 of the SANFL Maccas League.
Fresh off the bye, both sides will look to continue their momentum as they head into the busy period of the 2018 Season.
Norwood will look to record their third win in a row this weekend, while the Eagles will look to leapfrog North Adelaide with a win against the Redlegs.
The Redlegs are starting to gather some momentum after recording wins against Adelaide and the old enemy, Port Adelaide.
Head Coach of the Redlegs, Jarrod Cotton has outlined that his side is well prepared heading into the match and knows the importance of it leading into another blockbuster match against Centrals next Friday night.
“Our preparation has come along really well,” Cotton said.
“A bye is a chance for the players to mentally refresh as well as physically, they have done that and trained really well this week.”
“All the boys are really excited about the chance to face one of the best teams in the competition on their home deck, it’s a pretty big challenge for us.”
Cotton also praised his side’s performances in the last few weeks highlighting the teams’ effort and tackle pressure for the whole of the four quarters.
“I think our effort in the last few weeks has been fantastic,” Cotton explained.
“I thought we played really well against Sturt to be honest as well, however we weren’t able to capitalise that day on our opportunities.
“But, if you’re looking at four quarters the game against Port was pretty good although we slowed down a bit in the last.
“Overall, we know we need to bring plenty of effort this week and if we do that and execute then it will go a long way in winning the match.
