Match Preview: Norwood FC vs Woodville West Torrens
The Redlegs are set to face the Eagles at Coopers Stadium tonight, in Round 7 of the SANFL Maccas League.
The Legs will be looking for a third straight win against the ladder leaders, after defeating both Centrals and Glenelg.
Head Coach Jarrod Cotton outlined that his side is well prepared heading into the clash, mentioning how important it is to pick up points at home.
“Training has been excellent this week, and the boys are really focused on putting in another good performance this week,” said Cotton.
“We’ve spoken about it before, but it’s crucial that we win our home games and perform well in front of our supporters.
“We are definitely going to need the fans support against the top side, so I’m hoping they come out in numbers and get right behind us.”
Cotton also praised his sides performances in the last few weeks highlighting the teams’ effort and tackle pressure for the whole of the four quarters.
“I think our effort for every game we have played has been fantastic,” Cotton explained.
“Personally, I think the more the group plays together with a new game style the better the team will get at it.
“But in saying this the efforts been really good, our tackle pressure last week was excellent and our team first acts were really good.
“So, if we bring really good effort and we apply lots of pressure it will go a long way in winning the game.
