Match Preview: West Adelaide v Norwood FC
Tonight, the Norwood Football Club is set to face West Adelaide in our first away game for 2017.
The Redlegs are ready to challenge West Adelaide after going down to the Port Magpies by three points in a thriller last Friday night.
Norwood FC, Head-coach, Jarrod Cotton, said the team has trained well during the week and is focused on delivering a consistent four quarter performance away from home this Friday night.
“Obviously playing away, we really need to focus on getting a good start and we also need to be consistent for four quarters.
Cotton also stressed the importance of Norwood’s intensity around the football over the four quarters, as well as tackle pressure in creating turnover opportunities to hit the scoreboard.
“What we want to improve on is our intensity around the footy and our tackle count,” said Cotton.
“Our ball movement also, is a big focus for us, making sure we make smart decisions especially when we go inside our forward half.
“But overall, it’s a big ground we want to run and carry, especially through our wingmen. So, it’s a great opportunity to showcase our game style and show signs of improvement”.
