NORWOOD FAMILY BUILDS THE FORT

The Build the Fort campaign has to date raised over five million to date with the generous contributions from the Norwood Football Club and greater community. The passion for the new Norwood Football Club Community Centre has been amazing; it has also allowed our playing group to contribute financially by purchasing their own personal picket.

The Leadership group were the first to help “Build the Fort” marking their place around the oval and at the same time dedicating their picket to those that have supported them through their journey at the Norwood Football Club.

Our Club Captain Jace Bode was one of the first players to purchase his picket along with his Father Olaf Bode who played for the Club in 1986. The Bode Family is now immortalised around the ground with both Jace and Olaf donating their pickets on behalf of the Bode Family.

“The Norwood Football Club has played such a significant part in our family, buying a picket and donating towards the rebuild of the Club was the least we could do” Jace Bode.

Over 200 current and past players have donated to the Build the Fort campaign by purchasing their picket and we have now open up the players section of the oval for the general public to purchase.

All donations to help Build the Fort are fully tax deductable through the Australian Sports Foundation and most importantly, go towards creating a new home for the Norwood Football Club members, supporters and the greater community.
