Consistent midfielder, Monique Hollick has claimed our Women’s second ever Best and Fairest award.

The classy midfielder won her first ever Best and Fairest on Friday night in her first ever season at the Parade.

Hollick finished the count on 29 votes, earning her first best and fairest just five votes clear of dominant midfielder Rhiannon Busch, with Ebony O’Dea finishing third with 17 votes.

Hollick, was one of the shining lights in 2018 as her ability to find the football as well as capitalise on the scoreboard saw her recognised as a part of the Advertiser SANFLW Team of the Year squad.

Known for her incredible aerobic capacity, Hollick ran her opponents ragged to register more than 15 touches per game and kicked one of the goals of the year in Round 4 against West Adelaide.

Earlier in the evening ruck woman Leah Cutting was awarded the Best Team Player award, Ebony O’Dea won the Best Under-21 Player award while Elisha Gallagher won the Coaches Award.
