Panos cleared of ACL injury

MATT PANOS is a 1-2 week proposition for Norwood FC as he recovers from bone bruising on his knee.

It means the converted midfielder/forward will miss this Saturday’s game against Sturt.

Panos, left the field in the last quarter against the Eagles on Friday night clutching his knee, however initial scans have shown no injury at all to his ACL.

Panos will hopefully recover well and put his hand up for selection against Adelaide FC in a fortnight.

In other news reigning, best and fairest Matt Fuller left the field in the third term with a concussion. The club doctors will go through the appropriate protocols as the week progresses. Matt will aim to play this week providing he passes the tests required.
