NORWOOD’S Reserves will make the most its second chance after falling to North Adelaide by 14-points in the Second Semi-Final.
Despite leading by 11-points at quarter time Norwood in the end weren’t able to match it with the Roosters after that as they soared into the Grand Final on September 23.
Small forward Chris Olsson was impressive for the Legs booting five goals, while Premiership Player Callum Bartlett collected 23-disposals and two goals.
In defence Mac Bower gathered 16 touches and seven marks while Darcy Pisani and Nick Pedro collected 38 touches between them.
The Redlegs in the end finished -6 in inside 50’s (39-45) and -4 in marks (82-78) for the match.
Unfortunately for Norwood the Roosters kicked away towards the end of the third term to make the task much more difficult for the Redlegs.
With North holding a 19-point buffer, they kicked the first of the last to give themselves a 25-point.
Norwood however continued to press and rewarded themselves on the scoreboard courtesy of late goals from Joseph Beilby and Caleb Edmead.
The Redlegs will again travel to Richmond Oval on Saturday to face Central District with the winner advancing through to the Grand Final in two weeks.
