NORWOOD’s Reserves are through to next Sunday’s Grand Final after a narrow seven point win against Centrals.

The Redlegs lead by as much as 32-points eight minutes into the third term; however the deficit was cut to just nine points midway through the final term.

With Centrals coming home strongly it was Anthony Giannini who put the result beyond doubt with the clock just ticking over 20 minutes in the final term.

Despite the Dogs registering the last three scoring shots for the match, Norwood came away with the spoils joining the League team in next Sunday’s Grand Final.

Rebounding defender Zac Richards did his chances of a recall no harm collecting 31-disposals including 10 marks.

Darcy Pisani was also a solid performer in the midfield gathering 23 touches and six tackles while Nick Pedro continues to mount a case for selection after collecting 17 disposals and booting two goals.

Other multiple goalkickers for the Redlegs were Mitch Carter (2.0) and tall forward Daniel Johnston (2.2).

Norwood are likely to head into the Grand Final unchanged after emerging unscathed.

The Redlegs will now face the Roosters in a repeat of the second semi-final. Gavin Hughes’ men will be looking for revenge after falling that day by 14-points.
