Norwood Reserves fell to a 65-point defeat at the hands of West Adelaide on Saturday afternoon.
The sides opened the match locked in an even arm wrestle, with West Adelaide kicking the first two majors, but goals to Caleb Edmead and Kieran Agius quickly allowed Norwood to get back into the contest
However, the home side took control of the match in the second term, piling on four majors to Norwood’s two claiming a 37-point lead at the main break.
It was a disappointing result for the Redlegs, who lost most categories only managing seven goals from their 33 inside 50s, compared to Wests 17 from 46.
Zac Richards impressed the coaches with his composure and rebound off of halfback.
Meanwhile, Darcy Pisani continued to get his hands on plenty of the footy, collecting 25 disposals and seven tackles.
Anthony Wilson managed one goal and two behinds in his third game back from an ankle inury, while Tom Forster and Chris Olsson accumulated 20 plus disposals for the match.
Harry Viney was Norwood’s only other multiple goalkicker, snaring two from his 11 touches to go with five marks.
