The 2018 SANFLW Grand Final is upon us, as we face South Adelaide on Anzac Day at Peter Motley Oval.
In what has been yet another captivating year of SANFLW, the Lady Legs head into next Wednesdays Grand Final full of confidence after overcoming a tough and offensive North Adelaide last weekend by 8-points in the Preliminary Final.
Norwood will take plenty of confidence out of the Preliminary Final win and are hoping to be the first ever SANFL Women’s team to go back to back.
The Lady Legs head into next week’s match with a squad of 25, with one massive inclusion being Michele Reid.
Reid, a Premiership player in 2017 has been sidelined since Round 5 after sustaining a knee injury against South Adelaide.
Reid proves to be a handy addition for the Redlegs with her clearance work and contested ball a real strength of her game.
South currently has the wood over Norwood winning the past two meetings by respective margins of 13 and 30.
The Lady Legs will look to break that drought on Wednesday in front of what should be a big crowd at Unley Oval.
Norwood’s experience having played in the 2017 Grand Final should make for an exciting contest between two of the competitions heavyweights.
