Team Selection Round 3
The Norwood Football Club will look to record back to back wins for the first time this season when they face Glenelg on Saturday afternoon at Gliderol Stadium.
The Redlegs defeated South Adelaide last weekend to secure their first win of the year by 47-points at the Parade.
Norwood FC had a strong showing in not only the Seniors last week but also the reserves as they managed to defeat South by a point.
Head Coach, Jarrod Cotton has welcomed back two key players for this weekend’s clash against the Bays.
Gun midfielder Brad McKenzie returns to the side after overcoming a knee injury suffered in the pre-season.
McKenzie returned via the reserves last weekend where he picked up 25-disposals across half back and through the midfield.
The inclusion of McKenzie will add run and class to the Norwood side especially with his damaging left foot.
Another key player added to the squad of 23 is midfielder Zac Richards.
Richards had a solid performance in the reserves last weekend collecting 24 disposals and 7 tackles.
New recruit Josh Glenn will remain in the reserves for another week after a promising performance in the one-point win.
Glenn had 22 touches and kicked 1.3 in his first appearance for the Redlegs.
