Norwood FC to battle South in first ever SANFLW Clash.
The Norwood Football Club host South Adelaide this Saturday for a chance to claim top spot on the Statewide Super SANFLW Ladder.
Norwood, South and North are all currently tied for first spot, with three wins and one loss in the opening four rounds.
Norwood last weekend recorded back to back wins for the first in 2018, defeating West Adelaide by 13-points at the Parade.
This weekend’s blockbuster against South will be the first ever meeting between the two sides in the SANFLW Competition.
Coach of the Norwood Women, Steve Symonds has made three changes to last weekend’s side.
Consistent performer Jane Fitzgerald will miss due to concussion, Rhianna Peate will miss the match also due to suffering a hamstring injury, while floating half-back Kayley Pearson has been omitted.
Returning to the side will be Aajiah Jericho, Ashlee Gould and Elisha Gallagher.
Vice-Captain of the Adelaide Crows Women, Sally Riley will once again line up for Norwood this weekend.

- Norwood is ranked first in the competition for Inside 50’s allowed conceding only 20 a game.
- Norwood and South Adelaide will match up for the first time this weekend in the Statewide Super Women’s League.
- Jo Hill is ranked second in the competition for goals. Jo has four goals in four games so far in 2018.
