The Norwood FC girls will look to make it two wins in a row this weekend when they face Sturt in Round 7 of the Statewide Super Women’s League.
After a thrilling come from behind win against Glenelg last weekend, Norwood will look to claim second spot with a win over the Double Blues this weekend.
Norwood currently sits third on the SANFLW Ladder on percentage with the second placed Roosters.
In selection news, Norwood will be without inspirational Captain Rebekka McMahon after she injured her knee in last week’s win over Glenelg.
Player of the Week Rhiannon Busch will be out also due to being unavailable, while Lisa-Jane Millard and Ashlee Gould have been omitted.
In better news the Lady Legs welcome back former Australian Basketball star Jo Hill, as well as Alannah Rochow, Adele Gibson and Kate Fenton.
This week’s match against Sturt is the first ever competitive meeting between the two sides in the SANFLW competition.
Norwood will look to record back to back wins for the second time this season, while Sturt will be aiming to clinch their second win of the year.
