SANFL Wheelchair Football – Round 9 match report

Norwood closed out its SANFL Wheelchair Football League regular season against the top of the table Woodville-West Torrens.

The Redlegs went into Friday night’s match up with the same starting line up and structure that proved influential in previous weeks, but unfortunately the Eagles showed their dominance in a 73-point win.

Again, Norwood showed some positive signs to take from the game, with everyone being able to get a good amount playing time and the opportunity to trial in various different positions throughout the second half.

The team will take the lessons learnt from Friday nights loss and make the necessary tweaks in order to give themselves the best chance of coming away with a victory on Friday night in the third-place match against Central District.

The game against the Bulldogs will take place at The Lights Community Centre on Friday, August 11, from 6:10pm. The Grand Final between the Eagles and Sturt will follow from 7:30pm.
