Past Player of the Week – Benjamin Knights

In 1996, Benjamin Knights played 15 games for the Norwood Under 19 team, including the side which was beaten in the Grand Final. The following year Knights made another 12 appearances for the under 19s, played in the premiership win against Woodville-West Torrens and was the recipient of the meritorious performance award.

The high-leaping Knights made his reserves debut during 1997 and was named in the 20 which was beaten by Port Adelaide in the 1997 Grand Final.
