VALE Peter Teakle

The Norwood Football Club is saddened by the passing of Peter Teakle. 

Peter was an incredible supporter of his local community and partner of the Norwood Football Club, particularly in recent years through the establishment of The Teakle Cup – Norwood’s match played in its regional zone of the Eyre Peninsula.

Our club was incredibly sad to hear the news that Peter passed away on Friday, June 14.

A statement from Peter Teakle Wines read: “Peter’s commitment to transforming Port Lincoln and the Eyre Peninsula into a premier food and wine destination was evident in everything he did.

“Peter’s philanthropy and unwavering support for the wider Port Lincoln community will be remembered and cherished. He leaves an indelible mark on our community, our region and our industry.

“Without doubt, Peter’s greatest strength was his ability to bring people together and he genuinely loved the personal and professional relationships he developed across his many endeavours.

Our thoughts are with Ben, Kylie, Leanne and all of the Teakle Family during this difficult time.
