Tim Weatherald joined Norwood, after an outstanding career with the Sturt Football Club. A diminutive midfielder, he played 253 league games for the Double Blues in a career spanning 13 seasons. Weatherald made his league debut as a 17 year old, having played his early football with the Bridgewater Football Club and Prince Alfred College.
He played a big part in Sturt’s 2002 Premiership. Not only did he win the club’s best and fairest award, but he was also the recipient of the Magarey Medal.
