Past Player of the Week – Malcolm Smith

Malcolm Smith was born on 16 March 1936 and spent his early years in Naracoorte in the South-East of South Australia before moving to Adelaide where he attended Magill Primary School.

He made his league debut in round one 1956. Norwood were narrowly defeated by West Torrens at Thebarton 10.18 to 11.14. A few days later he played in the Anzac Day clash against Port Adelaide on the Adelaide Oval.
