Norwood Thanks and Farewells Dale Fleming

After nearly a decade of outstanding service as Commercial Operations Manager of the Norwood Football Club Dale Fleming has announced his resignation, ending a remarkable chapter in a lifelong association with the Redlegs.

A Premiership player (1997), respected leader and passionate club man, Dale’s contribution to Norwood has been incredibly appreciated.

Since taking on the commercial role in 2017, Dale has played a pivotal part in strengthening the club’s foundations — securing key sponsorships, driving commercial growth, and deepening connections within the Norwood family.

His ability to build relationships and create meaningful partnerships, has left a lasting legacy both inside the club and across the wider football community.

Reflecting on his time at Norwood, Dale said “Norwood has been more than just a club to me—it’s been a second home. I’m incredibly grateful for the friendships, memories, and the unwavering support of the Norwood family.

“To our loyal partners, sponsors and the passionate Redlegs community, thank you for making this journey so special. I look forward to cheering on from the sidelines.”

Dale departs with the respect and admiration of everyone at Norwood. His commitment, leadership and tireless efforts behind the scenes have helped shape the club’s recent successes and future direction.

While he may be stepping away from the day-to-day, Dale will forever remain part of the Norwood story.

Dale Fleming played 137 SANFL matches for Norwood from 1994 to 2001, including the 1997 Premiership.
