Senior Men’s Trial Match Teams

Norwood has moved into the trial match phase of its 2026 SANFL season preparation, taking on North Adelaide at Coopers Stadium on Friday night. 

The Redlegs will be facing the Roosters from 7:40pm in the SANFL trial, following the Reserves trial from 5:30pm.

The League trial will be played across four 26-minute quarters (no time on), while the Reserves will play four 22-minute quarters (no time on).

Norwood has named a 24-man squad to face the Roosters on Friday night in the SANFL Trial.

Several new faces will be pulling the Norwood guernsey on for the first time, including Kade Dittmar, Aaron Francis, Josh Murphy and Matthew Harms in the League Trial.

Returning to The Parade this off season is Harry Boyd, who will also suit up for the Redlegs in the Trial.

The Reserves have also named 13 players who are new to the squad in 2026, as well as four current U18s will also represent the Reserves side, including Tom Neal, Cooper Urban-Burrows, Fergus Myall and Archie James.

Mitch O’Neill, Tristan Binder, Cory Stockdale and Tom McCallum are among those to miss the trial match through injury.

The main canteen and Premiers Bar will be open for patrons tomorrow night, and entry to the games will be free.

Norwood will next Friday face Glenelg in another trial match at Coopers Stadium, before its Round 1 match against Sturt on March 27.
