In 2026, the Norwood Football Club is saying “Here’s Cheers to 80 Years” of partnership with Coopers Brewery.
The Coopers and Norwood partnership is one of the longest running sponsorships in world sport, commencing in the year 1946 and continuing to this day.
The Redlegs play their home games at Coopers Stadium on The Parade, and serve solely Coopers beers at the venue… you don’t have a beer at The Parade, you have a Coopers.
Club CEO Richard Kelly said Coopers was synonymous with Norwood.
“As a club we are indebted to a partner like Coopers. 80 years is extraordinary and as a club we are so grateful with the connection with the entire Coopers Family.”
“Here’s cheers to another 80 years.”
To celebrate eight decades of partnership, Coopers and the club, along with FORTIS Club Member Andrew Killey, have collaborated on this video below, which will be played ahead of each home game at Coopers Stadium.
Norwood’s 2026 SANFL Men’s season gets underway this Friday at Coopers Stadium, under lights, against Sturt.
