2026 SANFL U20 Squad Announced

South Australia’s exciting mature-age talent will have its opportunity to shine when the SA U20 team tackles the SA U18 team at Maughan Thiem Kia Oval on Saturday May 16.

Selectors have released a 30-player squad which features Hostplus SANFL League regulars Oliver Francou (North Adelaide), Phoenix Hargrave (South Adelaide) and Kade Herbert (Woodville-West Torrens).

Emerging players such as Central tall Tallan Rosensweig, Tiger utility Remi Brown and West speedster Joel Parker have also had their noteworthy starts to the League season rewarded with selection.

Each SANFL club has at least one player in the initial list, with Adelaide (Ned Atkinson) and Port Adelaide (Rome Burgoyne) also represented.

Players will gather for a recovery session on Sunday May 10 at SANFL’s High Performance Centre before training on Tuesday May 12 and Thursday May 14 at Football Park, West Lakes.

The match against the SA U18 team, which forms an important part of the SA U18s warm-up for the National Championships, will be played at 1pm on Saturday May 16.

As per tradition, the SA U20 team will be coached by the reigning SANFL Reserves premiership mentor, with Glenelg’s Jared Millington taking charge this year after the Tigers’ success in 2025.
