NORWOOD could welcome back a host of stars for Sunday’s crucial clash with League leaders Adelaide at Coopers Stadium.
Key midfielders Matthew Nunn and Matthew Panos are both strong chances to return, after missing the past month of football.
Both players will need to complete all the sessions this week, if they do, then they put their hand up for selection.
Captain Jace Bode is also a chance to return after the missing the last two weeks with an ankle injury, sustained in the first quarter against South on Queen’s Birthday Monday. Bode has trained well over the past fortnight and is a strong chance for selection.
Small forward Ed Smart was a fair chance to return against the Eagles two weeks ago, however, wasn’t risked after tweaking his hamstring against South. Smart is again in the mix with the small forward needing to get through all the sessions this week to be deemed fit to take on the Crows.
After missing Norwood’s Round 11 clash with the Eagles, Michael Talia is in line to re-take his spot in the 21 after finishing the Port game with a back complaint.
The 26-year-old was managed against the Eagles and is likely to return against Adelaide on Sunday.
Tough midfielder Will Abbott is still approximately two weeks away after sustaining a knee injury in Norwood’s last meeting against Adelaide.
Abbott’s rehab is going well, with hopes of him being available for selection against South Adelaide in Round 14.
Ruckman Josh Miller is also recovering well from a knee injury and could be available for selection in a fortnight.
