The Norwood Football Club extends its sincere sympathies along with our thoughts and prayers to the Cousins family after the sad passing of former player, Kevin.
Kevin Cousins, played 40 games for the Norwood Football Club between the years of 1959 and 1961.
In 1961 he played in the Norwood Reserves Grand Final victory over West Torrens. Selected on a wing, Cousins was high in the Redlegs best players. The following week he was named on the bench in the League Grand Final clash against West Adelaide.
The wingman/half-forward played 14 League games in his third and final season and was the recipient of the “services rendered” award in 1960 and 1961.
In 1964 he won another Mail Medal playing for Booborowie in the NEFL.
Kevin will be missed by all who were touched by his care.
Vale Kevin Cousins.
