NORWOOD has finalised its coaching structure with Redlegs Premiership hero Troy Clements joining the club as defence coach.
The highly regarded Clements, who will oversee the defensive line at the Parade, has been applying his trade as coach of Immanuel College.
He played 209 SANFL games for Norwood winning a Premiership in 1997 and a Best and Fairest in 2001.
Clements will be joined by fellow assistants Stephen Carr and James Saywell, who will both look after midfield respectively.
Rob Harding as mentioned earlier will be Senior Assistant to Jade Rawlings, as well as the Reserves Coach taking over from Gavin Hughes who has departed.
Harding said the Club was confident it had secured the right mix of talent and experience to bring the best out of both its emerging and senior players.
“We are determined to give our players every opportunity to fulfil their potential and, in the process, deliver the type of on-field success that our Members and fans crave,” Harding said.
“Our off-season focus was to strengthen our football department with coaches who have been in successful or premiership winning football programs and we feel that has been achieved.
“We look forward to what our coaches bring in 2021 and hopefully we see the success our supporters are after.”
