NORWOOD will head into Saturday’s clash against Sturt with only minor injury concerns after reporting a relatively clean bill of health in both the Reserves and League team.
Utility James Warton suffered an ankle injury in the Reserves win against South Adelaide and will be sidelined for the next 3-4 weeks.
Despite the loss of Warton, the Redlegs will welcome back tough forward Sam Barnett who has recovered from an achilles injury and will press his claim for selection this weekend.
In further good news for Norwood, defensive duo Brodie Carroll and Mitch Wilkins both played full games in the Reserves and got through unscathed as well 2020 Reserves Best and Fairest winner Sam Morris who collected 14 disposals to go with two goals.
Defender Michael Talia is continuing his recovery from an ankle injury and is still three weeks away, while Henry Crauford is recovering well from a back injury and continues to make progress with his training load.
The Redlegs face Sturt at Unley on Saturday afternoon at 3:05 pm. The game will be streamed live on the SANFL Digital Pass.
