NORWOOD could welcome back a host of players for this weekend’s round four clash with West Adelaide at Hisense Stadium.
Defender Michael Talia could mark his return to football this weekend after overcoming an ankle injury suffered late in the pre-season. With Talia returning likely this weekend match committee will ponder whether they may ease him back through the Reserves or start him in the League side.
Dashing defenders Jai Larkins and Emmanuel Irra will also both be in the selection frame after overcoming injuries that saw them not in the selection frame against North Adelaide.
Midfielder Jacob Kennerley will be listed as a test after suffering an ankle injury in the loss against the Roosters. He will need to get through Norwood’s main training on Thursday to be available for selection.
Ruckman Henry Crauford is another one who is a chance to put his hand up for selection. The former Bomber has struggled with a back issue and remains a solid chance to return at either Reserves or League level this Friday.
In some unfortunate news, youngster Sam Duke will require surgery on his shoulder and is likely to miss most of the season, while emerging midfielder Cooper Murley sustained an injury whilst training with the Adelaide Crows last week, with an update soon to be provided.
Norwood will look to bounce back this Friday night when they face the Bloods at Hisense Stadium from 7:40pm.
