NORWOOD can confirm that star forward Paul Puopolo has been cleared of an ACL Injury.
The 34-year-old was stretchered off early in the second term against the Bays clutching at his right knee. Scans have revealed Puopolo has sustained a medial injury which will see him sidelined with no timeframe yet set.
Midfielder Dom Barry missed Norwood’s clash last weekend with knee soreness, however, is listed as a test for selection this weekend.
Dashing defender Brodie Carroll is progressing well after experiencing some hamstring soreness following Norwood’s Round 13 match against Sturt.
Carroll suffered a slight setback last week, however, will train this week with the view of returning in Round 18.
Wingman Matt Vardanega also suffered some minor hamstring soreness at training last week.
He will train fully this week and then we’ll assess him before deciding on his availability for the weekend.
Forward Liam Robinson who suffered a shoulder injury against the Eagles Reserves has completed his rehab and will train this week putting himself in the selection frame.
In better news for the club, Matthew Panos will increase his training loads this week as he slowly reintegrates into training drills.
