Vale Norm Walker

The Norwood Football Club would like to extend its condolences to the Walker family on the sad passing of past player, Norman Walker.

Norman Walker was regarded as one of the finest ruckmen produced by the Norwood Football Club, having been recruited from Saint Peter’s College.

Norm’s record speaks for itself playing over 100 games for the Redlegs and kicking 190 goals.

Walker was the leading goalkicker for Norwood in 1955 and 1957 and was selected three times in the Advertiser Team of the Year.

Norm was highly regarded by the Norwood fraternity and will always be remembered for his passion, commitment, and love of the Norwood Football Club.

The club would like to extend its deepest sympathies to the Walker family.
