Past Player of the Week – Joel Patfull

Joel Patfull was educated at Magill Primary School and Norwood High School and commenced playing with the Norwood Football Club in the under 13s.

In 2000 he played nine matches in the under 17s. After suffering a bout of osteitis pubis , he was tried at full forward the following year. He quickly developed from a goal kicking on-baller to a gun full forward. Patfull kicked 101 goals for the under 17s in 2001 and came fourth in the best and fairest.
