NORWOOD players have elected to retain the numbers they wore in 2021 but a host of new faces amongst others have learned which lockers they’ll have.
The arrival of Cam Taheny and Connor McLean got the ball rolling before Norwood picked up nine other talented players.
Cam Taheny has elected to take on the number 1 guernsey vacated by the departure of Zac Richards. Connor McLean will take on the number 25 previously vacated by 100 gamer Cam Shenton, while former Cat Ben Jarvis will wear number 12.
Bays recruit Tom Condon will take on the vacated number 16 guernsey, meanwhile big forward Thomas Graham will take over the number 18 left by fellow ruckman Henry Crauford.
Intercepting defender Pierce Seymour will take over the number five guernsey vacated by Michael Talia, while tough midfielder Chris Jansen will wear number six.
AFL recruits Jay Rantall and Patrick Naish have elected for solo numbers and will wear numbers seven and three.
Of the other recruits, Max Hodges will wear 28, Oscar Hodge 30 and Lochie Charlton 38.
There has also been a shuffle down the order as upcoming forward Henry Nelligan has moved down from 44 to number two, while Sam Morris will take over the number eight previously worn by Mitch Grigg.
Xavier Tranfa has also moved down the order from 42 to 21, taking over the jumper left by Paul Puopolo. Jed Spence will now wear the number 26 after the departure of Richard Douglas.
The club has also reinstated the number 46 for the first time since 2003. Ed O’Connor will don the 46 previously worn by Matthew Vidic.
