NORWOOD recorded a clean bill of health following last Sunday’s 21-point victory over Glenelg in the First Semi-Final.
The Redlegs have now progressed through to their first Preliminary Final since 2011 and could receive a boost with three more players a chance to return from injury.
Experienced defenders, Mitch Wilkins (Ankle) and Pierce Seymour (Ankle) are both pushing to return for Sunday’s final with the Crows.
Wilkins hasn’t featured at any level since an ankle injury sidelined him against the Eagles in Indigenous Round in June.
Seymour, unfortunately, suffered an ankle injury late during Norwood’s 55-point loss against Adelaide a fortnight ago, however, remains a chance to return this weekend.
Tough midfielder, Cory Stockdale will also be tested this week as he recovers from a knee injury sustained against Centrals in Round 17.
The Redlegs face Adelaide in the SANFL Hostplus Preliminary Final on Sunday the 11th of September at Adelaide Oval.
