With the 2022 season passing the halfway mark and Norwood with a bye this coming weekend, Norwood Media has looked at the Legs’ best contributors on the stat sheet.
Underrated midfielder Nik Rokahr is the leading disposal winner at the club averaging 27.4 disposals per game throughout the first nine matches.
Rokahr leads the Legs for marks (5.1 per game), and inside 50s (5.3), as well as sitting second to Harry Boyd for clearances per game (5.1).
Captain Matthew Nunn has also enjoyed a consistent start to the season, second for Norwood in tackles (60 in eight games) whilst averaging 26 disposals per game.
Vice-Captain Jacob Kennerley has been instrumental throughout the first half of 2022. The Number 11 leads the club for tackles (61 in eight games) and is third for inside 50s averaging 3.8 per game.
Full-time ruckman now Harry Boyd has enjoyed an outstanding start to season 2022.
Boyd leads the competition for hit-outs (341 in nine games) and leads Norwood for clearances 6.6 per game. Boyd ranks second behind Connor McLean for contested marks with 16.
In the goals department, McLean and Ben Jarvis lead the way with 13, while Cam Taheny is second with 11 and Tom Wagner is third with seven.
The ever-consistent Mitch Wilkins is Norwood’s main man for their exit kick out of defensive 50 as he averages 5.1 per game with Declan Hamilton second averaging 4.3.
In terms of team stats, Norwood leads the way for tackles per game averaging 88.1, and ranks first for clearances (38.6) and hit outs (43.3).
Norwood has the bye this weekend before a trip to Alberton to face Port Adelaide in Round 11.
