Ana Barisic travelled 14,000 kilometres from Zagreb in Croatia to Adelaide to play for Norwood’s SANFL Women’s team.

Due to the unprecedented circumstances which have arisen due to COVID-19, Ana missed out on featuring for the Redlegs after she was picked to play against Central District in Round Five.

The 22-year old impressed Coaches when Norwood toured Croatia in 2018 and despite the 2019 Season being put on hold, she is determined as ever to stay in Adelaide to achieve her dream of playing for Norwood.

For this to work, the Norwood Football Club is looking for any type of employment for Ana while she is living in Adelaide.

“Ana has an amazing work ethic,” said Brenton Klaebe.

“She has an infectious, friendly personality and fits in beautifully to the Norwood family.

“An employment opportunity will give her the chance to live her childhood dream with our great club.”
