NORWOOD midfielder Dom Barry has been nominated as a finalist for the SANFL’s goal of the year.
Barry received the nomination for the Channel 7 Goal of the Year for his effort in Norwood’s loss over Adelaide in Round six, which saw him soccer the ball from the pocket at the Woodcock End of Coopers Stadium.
Barry has enjoyed a fine first year at the Parade, playing 20 games and kicking 26 goals.
Other nominees include Glenelg’s Liam McBean, Sturt’s Danyle Pearce, James Rowe from the Eagles and Port’s Martin Frederick.
