Norwood’s Finn Heard has successfully challenged a one-match ban for engaging in rough conduct with Port’s Aidan Turner at The Parade on Saturday.
Heard, who faced the SANFL Tribunal on Tuesday, successfully had his Impact grading lowered from Medium to Low.
As a result, he has accepted a $125 fine and reprimand, ensuring he is available to play in Sunday’s Elimination Final against Central District at Adelaide Oval.

A message for NFC members and supporters – Finn Heard
As you are aware Finn was yesterday afternoon charged with rough conduct, graded careless, medium impact and high contact and received a one match suspension.
We will fight the charge tonight at the tribunal.
It is fair to say, as a club we are very confused by this decision. When the charge came through it took us less than a minute to reject the decision.
At this point we cannot say anymore about the process other than the club will put its full resources and support to get justice for Finn.
He missed most of last year’s Grand Final through an unjust act. We will do everything to make sure it does not happen again.
