Coaching Vacancies – Female Development/Assistant Coaches

The Norwood Football Club is seeking expressions of interest from Female coaches interested in enhancing their coaching credentials as part of an expanding Women’s football program.

With the SANFLW expanding next season with the introduction of a development league, the club is aiming to create a pathway for female coaches to be part of the growth. The opportunity exists to work with highly credentialed coaches gaining valuable experience who can assist with your football coaching journey.

The role will include working primarily with the new development team with cross over & learning opportunities available with the Senior team & staff.

The ideal candidates will possess the following

  • Current coaching experience at local level
  • Have a sound knowledge of the game, playing experience advantageous
  • Familiarity with the SANFLW competition
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Willing to commit the time & enthusiasm needed for both training & games
  • Ability to connect with players, provide instruction & motivate
  • Work within the team structures & assist with further strengthening the team’s culture
  • Hold a Level 1 coaching accreditation or willingness to obtain
  • Be a team player
