Cotton awarded SANFL Player Coach Life Membership

THE Norwood Football Club congratulates Senior Coach Jarrod Cotton after he was awarded SANFL Player Coach Life Membership at Tuesday nights SANFL AGM.

Created in addition to the existing Player and Umpire Life Memberships, the Player/Coach Life Membership can be awarded to any person who has participated in 200 SANFL games as a coach or combination of coach and player.

As he enters his fourth season at the helm of the Redlegs, Cotton played a total of 161 League games for Central District (77 from 1994-98), Norwood (75 from 1999-2002) and South Adelaide (9 in 2003).
Cotton made his Norwood debut against North Adelaide on the 26th of march 1999 and went on to kick 78 goals whilst at the Parade.
Appointed head-coach in 2017 Cotton has led the Redlegs to finals in each year, including the Grand Final in 2018.
Cotton is now in line to Coach his 60th League game in three weeks time when the Redlegs host North Adelaide in Round One of the 2020 SANFL Statewide Super League Season.
