Match summary

While there are always areas in which Development Team players can work on individually and collectively, such as more consistent precision kicking or correct stoppage structure, this performance against one of the stronger and more accountable DL teams in Sturt, was a highly commendable one. Norwood played accountable, attractive and high-pressure footy for each other over the course of all four quarters. The middle stanzas in particular yielded six goals against a talented and normally miserly defensive unit.

Given there were six changes from the game against South, the team still gelled together well and enjoyed playing or brand of footy together. We have the weekend off, but training expectations and demands remain high as we prepare for our final two games of the Development League season.
