From the President

Firstly, I hope everyone is keeping well during this time.

In the past few weeks I have provided a couple of updates on the Wolf Blass Community Centre, however, I wanted to briefly chat about our Club, our Community, our Norwood Family. The way in which the Norwood family has embraced the Fortis in Procella range to support our Football Club in these unprecedented times is truly unbelievable. Probably my proudest moment as President, or maybe just behind when the final siren went in the 2014 Grand Final.

People’s endless support and willingness to contribute to ensure the Football Club returns bigger and better than before COVID-19 has been incredibly amazing. Some may say they have been surprised at the support we’ve received, however, I would say why would you be surprised, WE ARE NORWOOD and this is what our Club and our Family means to us.

Nobody knows when this pandemic is going to end, however, one thing I do know is that the Norwood family will be back bigger than ever before. Fortis in Procella …….. Strength in Adversity is what it stands for and the Norwood family has shown, that’s exactly what we are over the last six weeks.

On behalf of the Board and Staff I just want to say thankyou, thankyou , thankyou. Your resolve and commitment to stay strong with the Norwood Family clearly shows that your heart beats true for the red and the blue!
