SANFL Anzac Day Grand Final re-match

Following two blockbuster games to kick off the SANFL season and two Gather Round games at The Parade over the weekend, Norwood’s busy schedule doesn’t seem to be slowing down with a packed week ahead.

Next Tuesday Norwood will take on North Adelaide in the traditional SANFL Grand Final re-match on Anzac Day at Coopers Stadium.

The Redlegs V Roosters League game will kick off at 2:10pm on Tuesday April 25, with the Reserves to commence at 11:20am.

The traditional Anzac Day Last Post and Ode will be performed prior to the League match, while an Anzac Day spread will be on offer, including egg and bacon damper rolls, lamingtons and Anzac biscuits. TVs will be on in The Premier’s Bar to keep an eye on the AFL Anzac Day clash between Collingwood and Essendon.

Anzac Day will be a SANFL SUPER MATCH and activations such as footy inflatables, The Advertiser Family Zone, putt putt golf, AAMI Chill Out Zone, Lawn Games and the Half Time Mini League will be a part of the match day experience.

SANFLW Development League Grand Final

Norwood will take on South Adelaide in the SANFLW Development League Grand Final at Coopers Stadium on Saturday.

The Development League Grand Final will take place at 3:30pm on Saturday, April 22.

The Round 8 SANFLW clash between Norwood and North Adelaide will open the day from 1:10pm, as the Redlegs hope to turn around a two-point defeat against the Roosters in Round 1.

Norwood will be without regular Development League player Charli Hazelhurst as she travels to Melbourne as part of the SA U16 Girls Academy, who will take on Victoria Metro on Sunday.

Hazelhurst is one of three Norwood players in the U16 team, with Kyah Jaffer and Asha Bianchi the other Redlegs in the squad.
