NORWOOD could call upon forward, Corey Grove for Saturday afternoons match against the Eagles at Coopers Stadium.
After being listed as the emergency last Sunday, Grove could make his Norwood debut on Saturday to add some more depth to Norwood’s big man department.
Grove has already played 33 SANFL games with North and Port Adelaide and will be looking to don the red and blue for the first time this weekend.
Full forward Luke Surman played his first competitive game last weekend and showed some positive signs in the Reserves 12-point win against Centrals.
Surman collected 10 disposals which included nine marks and a goal. The 21-year old, however, is likely to remain in the Reserves for a second week to gain further match minutes.
Henry Crauford was again impressive for the Reserves collecting 21 disposals and kicking two goals. Crauford could be utilized as a forward on Saturday to help Brady Dawe as a tall target.
Ed Smart will be put through a fitness test on his injured hamstring at training to access his availability.
Norwood has already ruled out Matthew Panos, Matthew Nunn and Jace Bode for this weekend’s clash.
All three are likely to be available after the bye.
