NORWOOD youngster Cameron Taheny could be a chance to return ahead of the Redlegs, Round 17 clash with Centrals on Friday night.
The 18-year-old missed Norwood’s 59-point victory over the Double Blues at Unley last Sunday due to College commitments, however, the young forward could return on Friday and add another dimension to Jarrod Cotton’s attacking set up.
Despite a tough loss in the dying seconds, Norwood’s Reserves are sitting on top of the ladder with several players in the mix to play League football.
Consistent performer Sam Buckham did no harm to his selection chances, after collecting 25 disposals and kicking three goals in the narrow loss to Sturt.
Big man Henry Crauford (19 disposals, 37 hit outs, one goal) was named one of the best afield in the Reserves, playing ruck and up forward.
Cody Szust was solid once again and is starting to string together some impressive performances at Reserves level. Szust amassed 22 disposals including five marks and six tackles in the wet conditions at Unley last Sunday.
Strong defender Mac Bower was again impressive down back, with 15 disposals and a team-high eight-rebound ’50s.
