Injury Report Round 4 – McKenzie a chance to return

Last Updated:

NORWOOD could be bolstered by the return of wingman Brad McKenzie for Friday’s clash with the top of the table South Adelaide at The Parade.

The 27-year-old was a late withdrawal from Friday night’s match with West Adelaide due to hamstring soreness, however, will be listed as a test for this week’s game.

Dashing defender Emmanuel Irra is racing the clock to be fit for a clash against his former side after feeling some hamstring awareness in the Reserves Friday night. Irra did not feature for Norwood a couple of weeks back with that same injury, however, is less likely to feature this weekend.

2020 Reserves Best and Fairest Sam Morris is a chance to return this Friday after suffering a hip injury in the Reserves loss to Sturt three weeks ago. Morris will need to train fully this week to put himself in the selection frame this weekend.

Defender Michael Talia (Ankle) and ruckman Henry Crauford (Back) played limited minutes in the Reserves and got through unscathed. The pair are likely to build up their match fitness through the Reserves again this weekend.

The Redlegs face South Adelaide this Friday night in Round five of the SANFL Statewide Super League at The Parade.

Defender Michael Talia made a successful return via the Reserves last Friday night.
