Injury Report – Wilkins in line to return

NORWOOD is a strong chance to regain experienced defender Mitch Wilkins for Monday’s Queens Birthday clash with South Adelaide.

Wilkins suffered a back injury after the Redlegs Round 7 win against Adelaide which has seen him miss the past two matches.

The 26-year-old however is listed as a test this week and will need to tick all the boxes to be considered for selection on Monday afternoon.

Midfielder Mitch Cotter could also be a chance for selection as he recovers from a knock to the ribs sustained against the Eagles in Round 8.

Cotter is listed as a test as he looks to press his case for selection.

Ruckman Michael Knoll has been now given a timeline on his injury, with him set to return in Round 12.

Knoll injured his toe against the Eagles and will be managed over the next fortnight in a bid to be fit for Norwood’s clash with Sturt in Indigenous Round.

Marcus Roberts is slowly increasing his training loads as he looks to recover from an adductor injury, while promising youngster Daniel Fairbrother has avoided surgery on his shoulder and is a chance to return in Round 14.

Defender Brad Ficken is a chance to feature in Round 14 as he recovers from a knee injury sustained throughout the pre-season. He will slowly increase his training loads and could return a couple of weeks after the bye.

Nick Pedro is still being monitored for concussion symptoms, while Matthew Panos (knee), Henry Crauford (back) and Ned Carey (knee) are still recovering from their respective injuries.
